The color of the Nordland bunad has varied from almost sea blue to dark blue over the years. We have had Hillesvåg wool- and woolproductfactory yarn dye for the Nordlandscape, which is an average on the color scale. So it is not 100% certain that the color is exactly the same as your bunad. The Nordlandscape we sell is not approved by the National Traditional Attire Board (Bunadsnemda). However, it is tailored to fit the Nordland bunad, and we have never experienced any complaints about either the color or the fabric we use. The cape is made to be a good alternative for those who want a matching garment to put over the national costume when it gets cold, instead of an all-weather jacket or similar.
